Toowoomba based ministry Soul Alliance was launched in October 2005 by Ivan & Sharlene Cheetham with the intention to equip and recource individuals and churches in the areas of relationship and finance. Through our own struggles to overcome relationship breakdown and financial difficulty, we have come to know and understand the difficulties that many face in these two areas.
We found that God is willing and able to heal and re-establish any person or circumstance that will allow Him to work in their lives. It’s our heart to encourage and help others to encounter God in those hard, difficult places by pressing in through prayer and reading the word. By simply sharing with others our own experiences, which sent us to our knees on more than one occasion, we will encourage you to find that place of peace in the midst of what may seem impossible. Trusting God and honestly seeking Him with whatever your situation is, can bring a new dawn to a dark world.
Our Vision
To encourage individuals to grow in their intimacy with God by providing good Christian resource.
To touch Christian women with the love of God, reinforcing their purpose and value, therefore strengthening their effectiveness within their home, church and community,
To help individuals live uncompromising and fulfilled lives that reflect the heart of their Heavenly Father, especially in the area of sexuality and relationship.
To encourage and help individuals to discover their God given purpose if they feel they are not already fulfilling that dream. To find their fit and do it with all their God given strength, ability and anointing.
Our Background
We (Ivan & Sharlene) have been Christians for approx. 25 years, and have been involved in various churches during that time. Ivan grew up on an irrigation farm outside Cecil Plains, where we spent the first four years of our married life. After leaving the farm he went back to his trade as a mechanic. I have devoted myself to raising our four daughters, and enjoy being creative in a multitude of ways, which I am using at the moment to design brochures etc for Soul Alliance, our church and businesses.
Soul Alliance was formed in October 2005 by Ivan & Sharlene Cheetham, with our first conference in November of that year. Since then we have done several conferences locally and in Brisbane, Gatton, Chinchilla and Dalby.
