It’s your turn now!

SOUL ALLIANCE has presented Lisa Bevere’s message about relationships, sexuality and God since 2005. We now want to encourage others to do the same using this great curriculum and present their own conference in their own area. We can’t go everywhere so we wish to give you tips and show you what we have learnt along the way in how to best present Lisa’s message.

The ’Purity’s Power’ series is a call for women to live in the freedom and confidence of God’s love, looking to no one but Him for their strength and security. The message is not a list of rules for girls to follow or a prescription for purity, but rather it’s a guide to help women of all ages understand how their relationship with God affects the sexual aspect of their lives. Using scripture, Lisa explains how feminity empowers women to live in freedom.

Soul Alliance enhanced this powerful message by Lisa, with a unique abiltiy to create atmosphere and beauty through the use of decoration, multi media, and special momentos designed specifically to support the message. We added the personal touch so each women not only went away empowered by great teaching, but also ‘felt’ loved and valued as a precious and unique daughter of God. Now we would like to help you create a wonderful atmosphere as well.

Don’t be overwhelmed by the thought of putting on a conference. The DVD sessions make it easy to put a program together that will flow and support the message. Make it fun and entertaining with some lighter moments to counter balance the serious moments. Invite a guest artist as a draw card and have one or two personal testimonies. Get a group of women together; pray and brainstorm some ideas and before you know it you’ll have things under way. Then pick a date and go for it.

We’ve found different denominations will work together to present this message because it is so relevant to so many women of all ages. This gives opportunity for churches to work together for a cause.

We believe Lisa’s message is best presented over a weekend rather than showing a session each week over several weeks. Momentum builds quickly and is easily sustained over a weekend which allows God to work deeply to bring healing and restoration.

How Far Is Too Far?

This is a question many young people want to ask; how far can I go physically without compromising my purity and emotions? Lisa imparts practical advice that will keep you from temptation.

Packaging is Power!

Find the balance between fashion and modesty. Parents and daughters will no longer have conflict over issues of dress when you watch this together. This will bring understanding to why we should dress modestly, but will explain what that really looks like in our day and age.

Restoring the Dream!

macie.jpgAs little girls we believed in fairytales and the happily ever after ending to our dreams. How do my dreams become a reality now as a grown woman, when it comes to relationship? Can and should I expect the best for my future? This will bring hope to those who have broken dreams and empower those who are still searching for their true love.

Purity’s Power!

Living a life of purtiy is not about rules, it’s about being empowered by a relationship with a heavenly Father who loves you. Discover what it truely means to find a prince who is able and willing to redeem every mistake in your life and wash it clean.

Question & Answer.

Lisa shares answers to difficult questions many women aften have no one to ask, or are simply afraid to ask. She tackles tough topics about oral sex and masturbation, to questions about how to find the right guy. This is a very informative session that will be helpful to all generations.

 

Other aspects we have used at our conference…

                            Raquraquel.jpgelle Henare, an incredible talent at 18, has a passionate heart for God and has sung and played keyboard at every conference Soul Alliance has presented. She is a regular worship leader at Citilife COC and is also on the youth leadership team. She is currently undertaking an arts degree at USQ majoring in music. Please contact us to invite Raquelle as a guest artist for your conference. She would be a great asset as she knows the message so well and has applied it to her own life in the choices she has made in regards to relationships and dating.

On Saturday night we invited single women to come forward to receive a sexual purity pledge card, and took the opportunity to pray for them and ask their mothers or support people to stand with them in support of this declaration.

me-mum.jpgSharlene Cheetham shared about her life and experiences of adoption and how meeting her birth mother at the age of 35 answered many questions and revealed a destiny and purpose God had orchestrated for a specific time to bring hope and healing. Psalm 139:13-16 became a powerful passage and revelation as she has walked through this challenging yet amazing time.

He makes everything beautiful in it’s time. Ecclesiasties 3:11

A touching story of healing and restoration, and that God’s timing is always perfect.

I recieved a lovely email from one lady who attended our July 08 conference, some of her comments are as follows (used with her permission)…

Hi Sharlene,    

I ’ve finally got a moment since we got home after the seminar!  I just wanted to let you know what an awesome job you guys are doing and that for me personally it was a pivotal time.  I finally felt that I no longer had the dark shadow of guilt and regret that had been silently lingering behind me.  Although I’ve known for a while that God has forgiven me there was still always that small voice that would remind me and would hinder me from walking as He really wants me to in freedom and light as His Princess!  What an awesome revelation!  Keep spreading this message, from my experience I believe it is the most crucial message that women can hear and it has given me opportunity to deepen my relationship with my husband, my daughter, other women and, most importantly my Heavenly Dad.  Another wonderful thing that I will take from this conference is the permission that I have given myself to dream again.  I did not realize that I had shut this down and the experience that I had robbed myself of by doing so.  I would love to see this conference brought to my town and region in schools and churches. Just another footnote to this, before coming to the conference I had a brief idea what the conference was about, no where near the extent of what it was, and had the thought that my husband and I would use this as an opportunity with our daughter Paige.  A few months ago we had purchased her a silver signet ring engraved with a “P” and we decided that we would take her out for dinner the night that we got home from the conference and give it to her (still not really having much of an idea about the actual conference content) Also at that time God gave me the words to write on a card, which my husband did, to give to Paige with the ring.  This is what he wrote; Our beautiful girl (…………..), We are giving you this ring a as representation of a very special covenant.  The “P” not only represents the first letter in your name, but when look at it you can remember that it also represents these things; Precious Gift – this is what you are to us form God, a precious gift.  God has given you a very Precious gift, one that only you can give to your future husband and the most Precious gift that you could ever give him. Promise – the Promise that you are making with God and yourself to save this Precious gift for your husband and the Promise that God ahs made with you that He has a wonderful man for you in your future that will be revealed in His time. This is not a covenant between you and us, but will always be between you, God and you future life partner.  Whatever decisions you choose to make in your future will never determine how much we love you.  We hope and pray that you receive this gift from us with love and only the very best of desires for you to have a life full of God’s amazing riches. Love Dad and Mum So we did this without knowing what was in store for the conference, however God knew and as always His timing is perfect!  God bless you and your team, thank you so much for the work that you are doing.  I have no doubt that people’s lives are being changed and that you have only just begun to see God’s blessing in your lives!
